Following our general meeting, we'll take a tour of Round Rock Studio, a versatile creative space designed to support photographers, content creators, and small businesses. The studio offers a variety of shooting areas, professional backdrops, and flexible spaces that can be rented for portrait sessions, branding photography, headshots, and creative projects.

The best part? We won't just be touring the studio—we'll get to put it to use!

Bring your camera and join us for a hands-on photography experience. We'll have both a high-key and low-key setup ready, along with a couple of models so you can test out the location, experiment with lighting, and create some great images.

Whether you're looking for a future studio rental, a place to host client sessions, or simply want to expand your creative network, this is a fantastic opportunity to see what's available right here in our community.

Evening Schedule:

6:00 PM – Arrive, socialize, and network with fellow photographers

6:30 PM – APPA General Meeting

7:00 PM – Quick studio tour of Round Rock Studio

7:15 PM – Photography opportunities begin
• High-key and low-key lighting setups
• Photograph live models
• Explore the studio space
• Create new portfolio images

8:15–8:30 PM – Raffle prizes, final announcements, and conclusion of photography activities

Austin Professional Photographers Association, previously PPGA, is a non-profit organization that was established in 1950 by a small group of local working photographers who were also members of the Professional Photographers of America

Our members are among the most skilled, talented, and professional photographers in the Austin and Central Texas area.

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
