Lighting Your Way to

Stronger Portraits

Join Alisha Cline Cr. Photog., CPP for this hands- on Merit class! If you're new to off camera ash, aiming for your CPP, or want to advance your skill sets this program is for you! The morning starts with covering the basics from ratios to visually seeing how the inverse square law works and why both foundation builders are important to understand in portraiture. Throughout the day Alisha will move the class along through the different lighting patterns, using additive and subtractive lighting, shooting high and low keys, using available light and if time permits mixing available light with strobes! Bring your gear and be prepared to shoot - this is all for your growth as an artist!

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
