A great extension from the "Basics of Print Competition" program earlier in the day...Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a PPA Affiliate Juror? How and why are certain Jurors chosen for a panel? What are those "tell-tale" signs that Jurors are trained to look for in an image? What does it mean when a Juror says they see "artifacting" in an image? What about "light traps" and "blocked up shadows"? We'll cover all that and more during this "What I learned at the Judges Workshop" program, concluding (time permitting) with an opportunity for you to actually practice judging images yourself.

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
