The Art of Compositing - The ’Need to Knows"!

Are you wanting to create cutting edge composites, but not sure how to begin? Or do you currently create composites, but they lack that “believable” feel? Randy Pollard, M. Photog Cr., CPP has been creating composites for high school seniors and sports teams for over 10 years and can give you some tips and tricks to take your composites to a whole new level! Randy will give you the most important things to look for when creating an image for extraction, plus composite assembly info including - retouching the image quickly and easily, matching subject to background, blending the composite together, and of course - the dreaded shadow creation!!

Compositing is only one aspect of their specialties, which include High School Seniors, Babies, Children, Families and Commercial work. They are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their studio, and their 30th wedding anniversary.

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
