As artists we tend to be afraid to sell ourselves. In this program Kellie will discuss overcoming fear and other obstacles associated with product development, pricing, in-person sales, packaging, and workflow. All of these tasks are crucial to developing your personal brand and enabling you to reach your sales goals. It's not enough to be talented and creative behind the camera. You have to be confident enough to tell your clients what they want, and organized enough to fulfill those promises once the sale is made. This program is designed to introduce you to the psychology of in-person sales and guide you to understanding what it takes to keep a high sales average and most importantly, happy clients.

Kellie obtained her Certified Professional Photography Degree through Professional Photographers of America in 2013 and an A.A.S. in Business Management from Angelina College in 2012. She has worked in the portrait industry since 2007. After managing a high-end portrait studio for six years, she opened Kellie Gann & Company in 2014. With almost zero money in start up funds she established her business in a way that enabled her to open the doors to her first studio eight months into her business, and grew to a larger studio only six months later. Her favorite kind of session to photograph is a family session with challenging kids and several generations. Kellie also loves helping other photographers learn and grow. In July of 2016 she teamed up with other pros in her area to establish the East Texas Guild of Professional Photographers and has enjoyed teaching workshops for local photographers and other guilds. As a member of Texas Professional Photographers Association, Kellie regularly attends continuing education seminars, such as the Texas School of Professional Photography to learn new ways to improve her craft.
