After hundreds of album cover and editorial photo shoots each requiring multiple setups per day, the application of multiple lighting scenarios is essential.

In his workshops he’ll cover custom tailored lighting schemes for different setups throughout a day of shooting. When one type of light doesn’t work for everything you want to accomplish, having an arsenal of lighting applications at the ready will bring confidence to even the most spontaneous photographic scenarios. With this knowledge the shooter can let the natural surroundings inspire the photograph, rather than relying on a set lighting scenario learned from another.

After 17 years of photographing Trisha Yearwood using countless styles of lighting, from daylight to 15 strobe heads, keeping your images fresh and non-repetitive lets your clients know there's always more to expect. Just as styles and genres change your shoots too will be able to adapt after knowing how to provide multiple looks and vibes of imagery, all with light.

Meeting Cancellation Policy

If our monthly membership meeting is cancelled due to inclement weather, location availability, natural disasters or other practical reasons, Austin PPA will attempt to reschedule the meeting for the following week or as soon as possible. If the meeting cannot be rescheduled for a particular month, fees submitted by all registered attendees will be applied to the following month’s membership meeting. One or more email messages will be sent to all registered attendees and the general membership regarding the cancellation and available rescheduling information.
